If you have been following my blog for any length of time you might remember back to last October and the wedding, handsome fellow in a kilt...sweet couple, gorgeous bride......well, on the 27th they welcomed Eden Rose into their family!! And I think if you were to look hard enough you could see the glow surrounding them. They are so in love with eachother and this baby and are praising God for the timing of the birth and His blessings in their life. It has been such a precious journey to watch unfold. From the day they met until now. They have kept God front and center and He has blessed them for their faithfulness to Him.
I felt so blessed in that we were considered family and asked to come and see her while still in the hospital. What a privilege! And we had such a wonderful visit.

Jacqueline came with us and as you can see by her smile she loved Eden right off the bat. Jacqueline has known Amanda since she was a tiny baby herself.
Here we are with Eden. Sorry for the blurry picture. Liam was quite taken with her. He had seen Amanda's tummy so big and was quite interested in the fact that Eden came from there. He asked how she got out and Amanda said she pushed her out. After we left Jacqueline said that though she wants to have children she is not into the pushing part. I am not sure how much Jacqueline knows about all this. But it was funny the way she said it. When we got home, Liam put a big ball under his shirt and said it was his baby and he called it "Sweetie".
I also held Eden but there were no pictures taken of her in my arms. But that is okay. I made it into this picture. Me and camera's are not the best of friends.
A wonderful little aside to this is how God worked a little miracle for them. Austin was hired on to a sheet metal union. A truly incredible opportunity! But his starting date was also Eden's due date. As soon as they realized that they began praying that she would come early so he could be there as he knew he couldn't miss work and risk that job. God heard their prayers! Eden was due the 3rd of October. God is good!!!
I will leave you with a Liamism: Recently Liam discovered daddies all purpose type tool on an end table. He opened it up to the file before I realized what he was doing and came over to me to 'cut my hair'. I said 'oh no no no Liam....this is not for us to play with!' To which he replied "Let's put it back over here and I will tell daddy I didn't play with it." Did daddy believe him?
