Weebly is acting up tonight so I am not sure how long my sanity will hold out. When it publishes you may see the long sentence that makes no sense below the title. But at least there should be a title this time. We will see.....centering...that is another thing that drives me crazy about this particular site. I am always trying to center the title properly but it keeps going back to what I don't like. And this time not only is it not letting me center but also not letting me erase that crazy sentence.
Okay...moving right along. Breathe....good. Not too much excitement lately but I did have some playground pictures that I thought I would share. Albany has a little mall and they put in a new playground not that long ago. Liam loves to go there and bounce and climb and crawl.

Sometimes he makes a friend.
And a couple miles from our home is Millersburg Park. It is a great place to play! Fun playground, swings and an awesome walking/biking path. Quite a lot of shade and picnic tables. We really enjoy it. Recently we went there with some friends.
And this never happens after a fun filled day at the park....but it does happen on the way to church sometimes on Thursday evenings.........
Some of the garden is doing fabulous and some is struggling. I am losing a lot of green beans to slugs. I put down slug bait and the box says that they are really attracted to it. Well, someone needs to tell my slugs about that. I am going to have to go out and reseed some spots. Also for the first time the slugs are pestering the dry bean seedlings. And though I have never had a problem with my bush beans this late in the season reseeding I am concerned about the dry beans. They need quite a bit more growing time. And it looks like this year we will be down three beds in back plus the bed in front. I was just sick for so long that things didn't get done like they normally do. One bed is a planned 'down' but the others are just a lack of energy when I needed it. Tomorrow or Tuesday we are picking up a truck load of rabbit doo doo. That stuff is pure gold in the garden and I will give the plants that need a little boost some. And that is quite a few of them. The people also sell already processed rabbit. I might buy one and see if I am able to handle it and cook it. I did have rabbit once. Years ago, as a teenager, I babysat a couple times for a family. The first time I was there the kids took me out back and showed me the sweet rabbits they had. The next time I was there I gave the kids the already prepared for us dinner. I assumed I was eating chicken and it was very good. Then I found out that I was eating those cute little bunnies I had met the time before. I am not sure if I finished. Though I remember it being really tender and good meat. But I am always looking for a humanely raised and near as organic as I can get meat source. So we will see.
I am slowly making the switch to all organic produce. I know bananas and avocadoes and those sorts of things are not a problem....but there are so many chemicals on our foods. I may do a lousy job of staying away from sugar but I can help our health out by downsizing our chemical intake. That made our lack of a strawberry harvest especially hard to take this year. And since next year it will be a new bed of strawberries it will be another small harvest. We have picked our cherries. Two pounds of Rainier and two and a quarter pounds of Bing! That is 4 1/4 pounds of organic cherries. And they were delicious! Liam has already started grazing on the kale. And we have had a few salads with the lettuce. I need to pick the bok choy because they are not afraid to bolt. I am planning a stir fry with cabbage, onions and bok choy. I like to sprinkle on some Montreal Steak Seasoning. A little bit of heaven.
So...I think that about covers it for now. Craig is working hard to get the boat ready for our first camping trip in many years. And Liam's first one in his life! Every day he asks if this is the day we are going camping. Bless his heart. But that is next month. So I will leave you with a parting shot and a Liamism.

Awe heck....how about two.
And now for the Liamism: Saturday nights Liam and Craig always take a shower. Liam came running down in his birthday suit afterwards and said "Mommy, I have to go doo doo. I have a clean bottom but it is going to be dirty now. I am so sorry for this." He makes me smile.
