Such an Honor.....
We have known this young lady since she was in the first grade! She is such a special person in our lives all these years. Several years ago she brought her young man into our lives as well. Last night they came to dinner and she asked Craig a very sweet question. Would he walk her down the isle in October? What an honor! And Craig happily and humbly agreed! This is such a precious godly young couple and we are thrilled to be a part of their lives. Now I can't wait for the babies!!!!! Hint hint:)
We love you Austin and Amanda!
This is such a perfect Resurrection Sunday! The weather couldn't be more perfect...and church was wonderful. Liam got chocolate in his class....no one passed out chocolate to us adults! Sometimes life just isn't fair. Normally on nice days the young men of the church get a basketball game going after the service. What a sight to see...all these young fellows with their suit jackets draped across the railings or over their cars playing a game. They always include Liam. What a sweet group of young men. Today he was devastated to discover that no one would be playing. So I promised him that when we got home he could wake up his daddy and play basketball with him. So he pulls his shoes off just inside the front door and asks "can I go wake up my basketball daddy?" And he did.
On our way home we ran a couple things to my sister. There is a very steep hill on the way...Liam loves that hill...I am creating a dare devil! So after the last speed bump I gun the engine and at the top we feel the gravity as we go down the other side...I always wonder if this is the day I will blow the engine doing that. Or, the twice a month I do it just cleans out the carbon buildup...I could look at it that way.
Last night Liam gave us a wonderful concert on the piano while also playing the harmonica. He is multi-talented! I have told him...piano, violin, dulcimer, bagpipes...no drums...absolutely no drums!
