The day started out great! We went to Indoor Park. Jumped in the Bounce House, built a long train track with a friend, drove cars all over the building, went round and round on the merry go round, had a snack and tried really hard to share with others. Then Costco. Lunch with friends and shopping. We're really fond of cucumbers right now and they are priced best at Costco. Then we fed the ducks at the park. Two loaves of bread and the buns from our lunch hotdogs. Home, dinner, time with daddy. Off to church and all is going well until one of the helpers taps me on the shoulder during prayer to say he was throwing up. Precious boy, he threw up again in the parking lot as we were leaving. Three times on the way home. I really should have accepted the offer of a trash can to borrow! Then four times at home before we finally drifted off to sleep. He is so pale and was exhausted. Tomorrow he was going to spend a few hours with his favorite girl. She is 12 and loves to babysit him and he loves for her to babysit him. Looks like our date day will have to be postponed........five times at home...bless his heart! This might be shaping up to be a long night. This is the first time he has had the flu. But it has been going around our church. Guess you can't dodge these things forever!
So that is life around these parts this evening.
I will leave you with a Liamism: He was getting really impatient for dinner to be done. We were just waiting on the veggies to boil. When I told him that he threw his head back and said 'I'm dying"!!!!! We will miss him.
