On December 30th we spent the day in Vancouver with Auntie Pam. We had a wonderful time and Liam got to help make lunch (pizza) and dinner (Mexican Lasagna)! He loved helping and Pam is so patient and works so sweetly with him. She even found something safe for him to cut with and he got to cut cucumbers! He loved feeling like a big boy helper!
He got to top the pizza and it was funny watching as several things made it only as far as his mouth. I did not get pictures of the pizza making but did of the Lasagna making. So here they are.

Careful of those sweet little fingers! He was having so much fun!
And here he is displaying the finished product....sort of reminds you of Vanna White doesn't it? And it tasted as wonderful as it looked!
Auntie Pam makes Liam's dress pants and any pant that needs to be something other than sweats. So we went to Goodwill and found some men's dress pants to turn into Liam pants. He is just not built for anything hanging on the rack. One of the ladies from church gave me a pair of her husbands dress slacks that could not be repaired. Auntie Pam turned them into dress pants for Liam. Since day one he has cried and complained when he has worn them. They are the "pokey" pants and hurt his legs. They don't cause any rashes and after about 10 minutes he seems fine. A couple Sunday's ago I asked my friend if her husband ever cried and carried on when he first put them on. She said she didn't recall that ever happening. Funny, funny.
So you are nearly caught up in our life. I promise cross my heart I will not keep you waiting for over a week again! Time just seems to slip away from me. Can't have anything to do with having a four year old in the house....not a thing to do with that!
I will leave you with a Liamism:
The other day Liam and daddy were playing 'ringa rounda rosies". When they fell down daddy covered Liam and hugged him and Liam wrapped his arms around daddy. Then a soft little voice said "Please stay here in my arms forever daddy". Oh my goodness! Priceless!
