After weeding in the front yard on Tuesday and in the backyard on Wednesday, I put Craig to work on Thursday hauling away yard debris from last fall and other garbage. Liam climbed up in the truck on his own to help. He is such a big helper! Him and daddy took a load to the dump while I planted peas and seeded my starts and did a little more weeding. I was so painful from the previous days of weeding that I didn't last as long as I had planned. But there is at least a good start on it!
This morning I went out to the greenhouse to turn off the heater and open things up and discovered what mischief had taken place during the night. Several of the trays had been dug through! Little varmints had dug up cucumber seeds, cantaloupe seeds, messed in the celery seeds and marigold seeds. UHG! So, sadly, Craig had to put mouse bait out for them. I am perfectly content to co-habitate with them as long as they stay out of my plants. I can see that is going to be a problem so that is my option. I will wait a couple days then reseed what needs to be done. I still have time.
Liam got a hold of my camera and took some pictures...66 to be exact. Here are the better ones....

Love the self portraits!
And now for a Liamism: Liam loves hard boiled eggs and has now learned to peel them! The other day he asked for one. But he did not finish his yoke. I asked him why and he said "today is not a yokes day, just a whites day." Now when he asks for a hard boiled egg he will let me know in advance if it will be a whites only day or a yoke day also.
