Here is one of the crafts Liam made today. This is for my mom and step-dad for grandparents day...they each get a caterpillar for Valentines. What I did was search on line for a template. This one was actually one that you had to buy but I was able to trace it off the computer screen. Is that illegal...or immoral? Then I tore a really pretty flower patterned paper into little pieces and Liam, generally without whining, glued them in place. I cut out the cat, mounted it on black paper and framed it. I am thinking it turned out really good and I want to keep it!! I hope my mom will agree. I made sure to pick colors that will work in her house...she is really picky that way. I can't show the others because they either are not done or the recipient might read this before getting theirs. But we have a few more up our sleeve..not all will be framed but all will be very unique!
We got some snow the other day! It didn't stick but it snowed off and on all day.
Either snow or really bad dandruff!!! He loves it! Now they are saying that we could get quite a bit of snow starting after 10 tomorrow morning!
Due to a newly discovered medical condition and of course many old ones, I am once again working really hard at a diet change. I am trying to follow the Trim Healthy Mama book. A friend has it and helps me with ideas and I do go to the facebook site, though that is hard for me to figure out. But the one thing I know is LOW CARB! So, dinner tonight was Low Carb German Pancakes. I will try it one more time. I didn't that the oat flour so I used coconut flour. That might have made the difference. The flavor was great but it did not end up looking at all like the picture, nor did it have the same texture as was described.

The boys had syrup but I topped mine with organic blueberry Just Fruit type spread and a little larger dollop of topping than most people would do. I love that stuff! I also made us each a cheese omelet.
So now I will leave you with a parting shot...and a Liamism.....first the shot...today I glance over at him and he was all bundled up in a blanket holding Blue Blankie like he always does...he always makes this face type thing. He used to hit his chin with that point also. He still does occasionally. It is really the funniest thing.

And the Liamism: As we were heading home from Salem on Monday " Mommy, I don't like it when people get stuck in Kelly's house."
"What?"
"I don't like it when people get stuck in Kelly's house."
'You mean Kelly from across the street?"
"Yes...people get stuck in her house." By now I am beyond confused..and my mind started doing that whole...what is happening when I am gone type thing. Is Craig and Kelly....noooooooo....so I question more.
"Who got stuck in Kelly's house?"
"When daddy got stuck." Then I start to see a little glimmer of where his mind might be. A few months ago Kelly bought a computer desk and Craig and the neighbor boy helped her put it in her house. It was dark out and Liam had fun playing in the back of the pickup which probably made it more memorable.
I said "do you mean when daddy got stuck behind the computer desk?"
"Yes...against the wall behind the desk...I don't like that."
Thank goodness we got him out!!!!
