Someone wasn't wearing green! But...Liam did not want to pinch daddy for real. Instead he hugged daddy and said "I don't want to pinch my daddy" So this is really a pretend pinch.
Crockpot loaded with our dinner. I was only able to get a grass fed, nitrite and nitrate free corned beef when I went shopping for one. They were out of the others. It was quite a bit more expensive but in the grand scheme of things it was much healthier for us. I have never put in carrots but needed to use up some.
Our St Patty's day dinner. Yummy! Liam ate the potatoes and carrots. He has not had his typical appetite lately and is not as willing to try new things either. Hope that changes soon! But on a better note that has nothing to do with the day...he woke up this morning with a dry pull up!!!! Fifth day in a row!!! We are so proud of him!!
So our dinner was wonderful and there are even leftovers for midnight munching! Perfect DVR'd Judge Judy cuisine!
I am still finding evidence of mouse type activity in the green house. The bait has been eaten on a little but not like I was hoping. I'll probably wait until Friday to reseed just to give the bait more time. I am using my last years heirloom seeds for the most part and haven't got much to spare! We have gotten a lot of rain again over the last couple days. That is spring here...days that tease you then days cold and rainy. But I do love Oregon!
March is missions month at my church. And we have had missionaries from China and Zambia visit at the church and video visits from other missionaries. With each one my eyes are opened more and more to how much God has blessed this country. And it saddens me more and more to see how we are throwing away God's blessings every day. It was interesting to hear that China is really an easy country to witness in because they have been communist for so long there is no real religion they have a loyalty to. In Zambia they have lots of different religions vying for them so they have to weed through to get to the truth. In Zambia they even hand out tracts to Muslims and witness to them! The children turn 11 plastic grocery bags into a soccer ball. The missionary had one on his table. Children here in America....my own included...take so much for granted. Our pastors daughter and her husband and children are in El Salvador...they have dirt floors and lots of bugs. They also had a grand piano gifted to them...a grand piano on a dirt floor! In all the pictures these missionaries show their are people living in such poverty but so excited about finding Jesus. We are very spoiled here. Very blessed but very spoiled. I want to not take all this for granted. I want to become a person who is thankful for everything. The largest to the smallest. I want a thankful heart. I also want Liam to have a thankful heart. How do I go about doing that? Another question for Auntie Pam!
I will leave you with a Liamism: Liam was trying to dress himself. He was working on putting his underwear on....."fruit in the back, fruit in the back, fruit in the back" We might have a problem if we change underwear brands.
